We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading financial services institution that’s building a next‑generation AI Academy and a broader, enterprise‑wide AI learning strategy.
This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role—shaping how AI capability, literacy, and confidence are built across a large, complex organisation. You’ll sit at the intersection of AI, learning strategy, and consulting, influencing senior stakeholders while delivering learning that genuinely changes how people work.
About the Role
Reporting into a senior leader within the Learning function, you’ll lead the design, build, and rollout of a scalable AI learning ecosystem.
You will:
Lead the AI Academy
Design and deliver AI Academy initiatives end‑to‑end
Create scalable learning pathways, standards, and frameworks
Ensure learning is engaging, accessible, and aligned to business priorities
Shape AI & Tech‑Enabled Learning Strategy
Set the strategic direction for AI learning across the organisation
Advise on innovative uses of AI in learning design and delivery
Embed generative AI and emerging technologies into learning ecosystems
Build AI Literacy & Capability
Support teams across the bank to build AI confidence and fluency
Develop scalable programmes that raise organisation‑wide AI capability
Partner with SMEs to embed AI‑enabled practices into day‑to‑day workflows
Consult & Influence
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
Translate strategy into practical, actionable learning solutions
Align diverse teams and influence decision‑making at pace
About You:
Essential experience
Strong consulting background within large, complex organisations
Proven experience in learning strategy, design, and capability building
Hands‑on involvement with AI education, AI literacy, or digital learning innovation
Experience scaling learning across enterprise environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable operating strategically while delivering at speed
Nice to have
Experience in financial services or regulated environments
Familiarity with AI‑enabled learning tools and platforms
Knowledge of learning analytics or measurement frameworks
