Analytics Lead

What you will be doing:

You will apply your strong understanding of how to solve business problems with data-informed decision making, helping others leverage analytics to improve their organizations. You will work with analysts, engineers, product owners, data scientists, and data management staff who share a passion for improving healthcare in the US. You will interface with supply chain, administrative, and clinical staff who support hospitals and patients on the front lines. You will help shape the end-to-end experience of a range of user personas who are evolving to become increasingly data-informed throughout their day-to-day activities.

You will use your analytical skill to gain a deep understanding of large datasets, such as purchasing transactions representing nearly half the spend in the US healthcare supply chain. Based on your own perspective as a data consumer, you will influence how the data is modeled, presented, and marketed. This often involves creating innovative data visualizations and analyses, achieving new insights that may influence entire organizations within healthcare, the US government, and medical supply / pharmaceutical manufacturing & distribution. It will also require you to keep abreast of the rapidly evolving self-service BI and data commercialization spaces.

By empowering others, you will get to see people and organizations grow across the healthcare sector, making better decisions, faster, and eliminating unnecessary costs while improving care. You will be part of growing a new and exciting business at Premier. You will identify, learn, and develop some of the best available technology in the data analytics space.
