This is a remote position. DEFENSEWERX currently operates in and hires from the following states: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia. This is a part-time position with 20-25 hours weekly, scheduled during business hours Monday-Friday.


JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Project Manager serves as an integral member of the AF-DWX team, providing independent oversight and coordination of assigned tasks that directly support AF-DWX mission and strategic objectives. This role exercises discretion and independent judgment in planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement, with final execution decisions approved by the Director and/or Senior Program Manager. The Assistant Project Manager ensures tasks are executed efficiently, resources are managed effectively, and partners receive high-quality support and deliverables.
