Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service & Chat Agent at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional member service. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling High Volume Communications: Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls and respond to member-facing chat inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Each interaction is an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to member satisfaction.
- Assessing Member Needs: Determine the specific needs of each member and provide appropriate solutions, including answering general questions about arenaflex.com, our products, and services.
- Technical Support: Investigate and resolve complex issues related to online orders, tracking information, and deliveries. Utilize your problem-solving skills to navigate challenging situations and ensure timely resolutions.
- Issue Resolution: Employ critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve order, product, and delivery issues. Be prepared to advocate for members and find creative solutions to their concerns.
- System Navigation: Masterfully use multiple computer programs simultaneously across different screens while handling phone calls or responding to chat messages. Efficiency in our systems is key to providing quick and accurate assistance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work as the essential contact between arenaflex.com members, vendors, purchasing teams, and operations staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Compensation Management: Consider and offer appropriate compensation or remedies as needed, in accordance with company policies, to ensure member satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification: Must be willing to complete a 14-day training program and obtain the eCommerce Member Services Specialist Certificate upon completion.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy and proficiency in multitasking across multiple platforms and applications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute (WPM). Outstanding verbal communication abilities are essential.
- Availability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and split days off. Shift times will be scheduled no earlier than 12:45 PM following training.
- Professional Demeanor: Must possess strong business writing skills and the ability to interact professionally with members in a friendly and productive manner.
