arenaflex is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Part Time Customer Service Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that keep our airport operations running smoothly. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a courteous, efficient, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Be the friendly face of arenaflex that travelers remember.
- Sales and Promotion: Promote and sell air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders, helping customers find the best options for their needs.
- Check-in Assistance: Provide assistance with passenger check-in and cargo acceptance, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Regulatory Compliance: Interpret government rules and requirements for domestic and international travel or cargo shipments, ensuring all regulations are followed.
- Aircraft Operations: Meet and dispatch aircraft within established timeframes, supporting on-time departures and arrivals.
- Customer Support: Provide assistance to distressed passengers and customers, going above and beyond to resolve issues and create positive experiences.
- Security and Safety: Protect company property and revenue while providing for safe travel for all passengers.
- Physical Requirements: Possess the physical ability and dexterity to use motor skills to perform various job-related tasks, including operating equipment.
- Multi-tasking: Use organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time period while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Independence: Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision while working effectively in a team environment.
- Emergency Response: Respond and assist during security and emergency situations, following all protocols and procedures.
- Equipment Operation: May be required to drive and operate air stairs up to various types of aircraft in order to enplane and deplane passengers safely.
- Leadership: May be responsible for the overall performance within work area and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees.
- Control Functions: May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions including air to ground communication as well as Tower functions.
Essential Qualifications for Success
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Bilingual language skills may be required at some locations
Licensing & Clearances
- Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities
- Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
Availability & Work Style
- Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must report to work on a regular and timely basis
- Must be able to pass background checks and obtain necessary security clearances
