What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our customer care team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our members receive the support they need. Here's what you can expect in this rewarding position:
- Handle Inbound Customer Calls: Respond to incoming calls from members seeking assistance with their pharmacy benefit plans. You'll be the first point of contact for individuals needing guidance on their prescription coverage.
- Provide Insurance Expertise: Answer questions about prescription insurance policies, medication coverage details, and explain the intricacies of pharmacy benefits in easy-to-understand terms.
- Mail Order Support: Guide customers through the mail-order prescription process, helping them understand how to receive their medications conveniently at home.
- First-Call Resolution: Strive to resolve member questions and concerns during the initial contact, ensuring customers leave every interaction feeling satisfied and informed.
- Empathetic Communication: Listen actively and respond with empathy, treating every caller with dignity and respect while building trust through genuine human connection.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of our PBM services, insurance plans, and coverage options to provide accurate information.

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 6 months experience interacting with customers in environments such as call centers, retail settings, hospitality industry, or military service. We value anyone who understands the art of providing exceptional service!
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to listen actively, speak clearly, and convey information effectively.
- Technical Readiness: You must maintain your own internet connection meeting our approved speed requirements (specific details will be provided during the application process).
- Secure Workspace: A dedicated, secure work space free from distractions where you can focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Educational Background: Verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Location Requirement: Must reside in one of the following states: Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, or Tennessee.
Preferred Qualifications (But Not Required!)

- 1 year of experience working in a Call Center environment
- Previous experience in a Healthcare-related field
- 6 months of successful work-from-home experience
- Healthcare certification (such as Medical Assistant certification) is a plus!
