As a Customer Success Associate - Referrals at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in building strong relationships with our learners, alumni, and partners to create a robust referral pipeline. You'll be responsible for identifying referral opportunities, converting them into warm leads, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive program promotion and enrollment growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Alumni & Learner Engagement:** Build relationships with current students and alumni to create a strong referral pipeline, fostering a sense of community and encouraging them to share their experiences with others.
* **Referral Generation:** Proactively identify referral opportunities within our learner ecosystem and convert them into warm leads through proactive outreach, including cold calls.
* **Cross-Team Collaboration:** Work closely with Student Success, New Programs, Careers, and Academic Delivery teams to:
+ Surface top alumni advocates who can champion our programs.
+ Time outreach with course milestones to maximize referral opportunities.
+ Integrate referral prompts into the student journey to encourage alumni to share their experiences.
* **Pipeline Management:** Maintain accurate referral data in our CRM, track referral stages, and follow up diligently to ensure timely conversion of leads into enrollments.
* **Program Promotion:** Effectively communicate program offerings and outcomes to referred prospects, highlighting the value and impact of our services.
* **Feedback & Insights:** Bring referral-related insights from alumni and students to internal teams to improve program quality, retention, and overall learner experience.
* **Target Achievement:** Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly referral-based enrollment targets, driving growth and expansion of our community.
**You'll Thrive in This Role If You:**
* Are a strong relationship builder who earns trust quickly, with a natural ability to connect with others and build lasting relationships.
* Have experience in community engagement, referral sales, or alumni relations, with a proven track record of driving growth and engagement.
* Know how to collaborate across teams to create unified, high-impact campaigns that drive results.
* Are organized, persistent, and motivated by outcomes—not just activity—focusing on what matters most to our learners and alumni.
* Have a good grasp of how experienced tech professionals think and decide, with a deep understanding of their needs and pain points.
**Preferred Experience:**
* 2–5 years in customer success, inside sales, community or alumni management, or referral marketing, with a proven track record of driving growth and engagement.
* Prior experience in ed tech, upskilling, or career transition programs is a significant plus, demonstrating your passion for the industry and commitment to making a meaningful impact.
* Familiarity with Freshdesk, Zendesk, HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM systems, with experience in managing and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
* Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and presentations that resonate with our learners and alumni.
