Delta Dental of Arizona, the state’s #1 dental and vision insurance company, is seeking a confident, detail-oriented, and accuracy-focused individual to join our Group Set-Up & Contracting Services team.


The Group Set-Up & Contracting Representative I position lays the foundation for successful enrollment, billing and commissions for dental, vision, life and disability groups. Therefore, this position requires a high level of accuracy. Duties include, but are not limited to, building new groups and making changes to current group’s rates, commissions, contacts, and terminations. This position works closely with the enrollment team to track new group enrollments along with various other tasks and can also interact directly with employer groups and brokers. The position requires a detail-oriented person with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Enter group, subgroup and contracts for dental, vision, life, & disability groups
  • Perform group updates/changes
  • Perform group/subgroup terminations
  • Perform group/subgroup reinstatements
  • Perform mass member terminations, reinstatements and transfers
  • Perform self-quality assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor enrollments for new groups to ensure timely entry
  • Maintain communication with internal departments
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to groups & brokers
  • Support and collaborate with team members as needed
Requirements

  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-1 years administrative experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and 10-key
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes
  • Detail oriented
  • High level of accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Dental CDT knowledge preferred but not required 
  • Self-motivated and work independently with minimal supervision

The starting pay for this role ranges from $18.41 to $27.36 per hour depending on experience and education.
