Position Overview
We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to join our Emergency Roadside Service team in a full-time remote capacity. As a Customer Service Representative specializing in emergency roadside assistance, you will be the first point of contact for members experiencing vehicle difficulties. Your role is critical in providing immediate support, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring our members receive the help they need during what are often stressful situations.

Key Responsibilities
As an Emergency Roadside Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary duties will include:
- Responding to Member Requests: Handle incoming calls from members and customers seeking emergency road service assistance in a call center environment, demonstrating patience and professionalism at all times.
- Information Gathering: Obtain essential details regarding the type of service required, including precise vehicle location, nature of the problem, and any specific circumstances that may affect service delivery.
- Customer Education: Provide comprehensive information about Emergency Road Service benefits in accordance with our Customer Interaction Model, ensuring members fully understand their coverage.
- Geographic Analysis: Perform geographical location spotting to identify potential service providers in the member's vicinity, utilizing mapping tools and geographic knowledge.
- Contractor Communication: Effectively communicate with contracted service providers, relaying member location, vehicle details, and problem specifics while obtaining estimated arrival times.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter all relevant information into our database systems, documenting call details, service requests, and follow-up actions with precision.
- Member Updates: Notify members of estimated arrival times and contractor names, maintaining proactive communication throughout the service process.
- Issue Resolution: Monitor service delivery and communicate with contractors if service is not provided within specified timeframes, updating members on status changes as necessary.
- Sales Opportunities: Recognize, promote, and process membership sales opportunities by analyzing member accounts to identify additional products and services that may benefit them.
- Quality Assurance: Verify completion status of each call and properly close out documentation in the system, ensuring all records are accurate and complete.

Technical Requirements
This position requires that you have the following equipment for training and job performance:
- Desktop or laptop computer with speakers and microphone option
- High-speed internet access with minimum speeds of 100 Mbps
- Ability to connect to a router/modem with Ethernet cable for stable connectivity
- Personal cell phone or home phone for communication purposes
- Ability to download company applications on cell phone or tablet
- Headphones/buds or headset (preferred but not required)
Required Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses required for selling and/or servicing arenaflex products
Experience:
- Minimum 6 months of Customer Service Experience
- Experience providing customer service in a professional manner and de-escalating difficult situations
- Proficiency in accurately inputting information into various fields using a PC keyboard
- Ability to navigate through a PC and/or automated processing system
- Ability to read and comprehend various Customer Care service tools, including manuals and work models
- Basic mathematical calculation skills including adding, subtracting, and percentages
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic computer skills with the ability to operate and navigate a laptop or PC
- Proficiency in using multiple applications simultaneously, including the Internet, Google Maps, Email, and company applications
- Ability to toggle back and forth between applications efficiently
- Knowledge of North American geographical relationships
- Familiarity with road condition reporting terminology
- Strong communication skills demonstrated through effective customer interaction
- Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with members and contractors
- Strong written communication skills for responding professionally to inquiries
- Effective listening skills to understand member needs
- Ability to accurately enter information on a personal computer
- Skill in identifying and resolving customer service issues or transferring to appropriate customer advocates when necessary
- Ability to represent the Customer Care Department in a professional and positive manner
- Capability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to understand, read, and reconcile payment history
- Ability to read maps and use travel-related tools including directional cues
Preferred Qualifications

Work Environment
This position works in a temperature-controlled office environment, though the role is primarily remote.
