As a member of our TechOps team, you'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment that values expertise, creativity, and teamwork. **Key Responsibilities** As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include: * Performing all work activities in accordance with established laws, regulations, standards, safety protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others. * Inspecting aircraft or aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, tires, and engines for damage, defects, corrosion, or other wear to ensure airworthiness. * Recommending replacement, repair, or modification of aircraft equipment based on inspection. * Reporting issues, malfunctions, unusual wear, or damage to appropriate personnel, as required. * Installing, removing, or modifying aircraft structures, systems, or components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications. * Repairing worn, defective, or damaged parts or components (e.g., damaged gaskets, lines and couplings, cables, and pulleys), using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment. * Inspecting completed work to certify that maintenance adheres to standards and procedures, and that aircraft are ready for operation. * Interpreting discrepancies or logs (written or verbal) to understand history and nature of issue, to troubleshoot issue, and to identify required next steps (e.g., fix, defer, replace). * Researching, reading, and interpreting technical manuals and guidelines to perform inspections, installations, repairs, or other work activities. * Reviewing maintenance records to determine if service and maintenance checks, repairs, and overhauls were performed at prescribed intervals. * Maintaining repair logs, documenting all preventative and corrective aircraft maintenance activities. * Serving as a technical expert or mentor by providing advice and corrective recommendations to others. * Using computers, computer systems, and other technology to enter, document, access, receive, or communicate information. **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field. * A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification. * Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality. * Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and arenaflex's proprietary maintenance management system. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset: * Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as aerospace engineering or aviation maintenance. * Experience with arenaflex's maintenance management system or similar software. * Certification in specialized areas, such as avionics or electrical systems. * Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication. * Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and train junior technicians. **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess: * Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality. * Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and arenaflex's proprietary maintenance management system. * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document and record maintenance activities. * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
