As a Compliance Data Entry Specialist – Junior, you'll be part of a dedicated team that's responsible for maintaining the integrity of our payroll operations, ensuring that our data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities As a Compliance Data Entry Specialist – Junior, your primary responsibilities will include: * Verifying start and stop times in the PATS system for each associate each day, ensuring that data is accurate and up-to-date. * Reviewing each associate's activity to identify and correct issues with data interfaced from SCAN, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy. * Keying in indirect time from indirect logs, ensuring that data is accurate and does not compromise the integrity of other assignments. * Analyzing and manipulating raw data to generate all necessary reports, creating assignments in PATS, and storing raw data appropriately to meet data retention requirements. * Keying in exception and adjustment logs, ensuring that all logs are turned in for each associate each day and reporting any issues to area supervisors. * Monitoring that all logs returned to the supervisor for correction are turned back into the office in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. * Archiving all production and indirect logs to meet payroll record retention requirements, ensuring that our data is secure and compliant. * Training as a backup to the PATS/IT Supervisor for the Payroll Extraction process, developing your skills and expertise in our payroll operations. * Performing other routine maintenance within the PATS application to ensure proper operation and upkeep, identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise. * Performing other clerical duties, as needed, to assist in building daily operations, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Knowledge of the AS 400 Warehouse Management System, with experience in data entry and payroll operations. * One year of related business experience, with PC experience preferred. * Knowledge of DC internal operations and procedures, with a strong understanding of our organizational structure and policies. * Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing. * Ability to keep confidentiality, maintaining the highest standards of discretion and professionalism. * Maintains an organized workstation, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Nice-to-Haves While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly desirable: * Bilingual, with proficiency in a second language. * Experience in payroll operations, with a strong understanding of data management and compliance. * Familiarity with data analysis and reporting, with the ability to generate reports and create assignments in PATS.
