Job Overview

In this critical role, you will serve as the primary customer contact, interacting with customers via telephone and written correspondence to address their concerns and provide resolutions regarding delinquent tax and state agency debts. Your expertise will be essential in handling escalated inquiries from customers to contracted private collection agencies, ensuring seamless communication and effective issue resolution. As a key member of our service center team, you will be responsible for providing assistance in accordance with established service center standards, utilizing knowledge base information from the Michigan Accounts Receivable Collection System (MARCS) and the State Treasury Accounts Receivable (STAR) system to answer customer inquiries and update account information.
