**Your Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
* Completing daily data access and balancing tasks
* Coordinating return items with vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
* Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
* Working member cases and sports assigned
* Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
* Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy and payoff exams
* Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
* Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes and/or returns
* Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
* Completing daily balancing and department closing
* Obtaining information from members for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic wire transfer requests
* Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing wire transfer information
* Communicating with vendors to process wire transfers
* Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming wire transfer laws
* Depositing check returns, reviewing member returned checks on draft changes, processing member checks, verifying members for outgoing wire transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing wire transfers
* Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
**The Ideal Candidate**
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities. Here are some of the key requirements:
* High school degree or equivalent
* Intermediate Excel and Word experience
* Previous customer/member service experience
* Previous banking or Credit Union experience
* Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
* Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs
* Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
* Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure
* Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
* Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members
* Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
* Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail
