By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization that's dedicated to making a difference. **The Role** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for scheduling in-home visits with physicians or nurse practitioners, answering inbound calls from members, and resolving any scheduling issues or concerns. This is a high-volume, customer service environment that requires efficiency, productivity, and thoroughness. You'll need to be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours and be comfortable using technology to navigate multiple screens and auto dialer systems. **Key Responsibilities** * Call members to schedule in-home visits with physicians or nurse practitioners * Answer inbound calls from members and assist them with their inquiries * Ensure that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolve any scheduling issues or concerns * Work efficiently and productively in a high-volume customer service environment * Use technology to navigate multiple screens and auto dialer systems * Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service **Training and Development** We offer 8 weeks of paid training, which will be conducted virtually from your home. During this time, you'll learn about our company culture, policies, and procedures, as well as the skills and knowledge required to excel in this role. Our training program is designed to be comprehensive and engaging, with a focus on helping you develop the skills and confidence you need to succeed. **Requirements** * High School Diploma or equivalent work experience * Must be 18 years or older * 1 year of work experience * Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements * Ability to work an 8-hour shift between our normal business hours of 9:00am-5:30pm local time **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in the healthcare industry * Experience working with Medicaid or Medicare * Experience working in a customer retention-focused role **Telecommuting Requirements** * Reside within EST or CST * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy * Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service * Must be able to connect directly into the internet via hard wire (either directly to modem or router) **Soft Skills** * Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens * Experience working in a metric-driven work environment * Experience using an auto dialer system **Compensation and Benefits** We offer a competitive hourly rate, with Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, or New Jersey residents eligible for an hourly range of $16.00 - $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and more.
