Position Purpose: Delivering Exceptional Customer Service in Healthcare
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll utilize your exceptional customer service skills, patience, understanding, and compassion to answer inbound phone calls from our clients' members. You'll address questions related to their healthcare benefits, providing personalized support and education where applicable. Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally handle a high volume of incoming calls, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, assess and fulfill customer needs, and educate customers on products and services
- Utilize and navigate multiple systems simultaneously, demonstrating technical proficiency
- Be dependable and meet all attendance requirements, demonstrating a strong work ethic
- Resolve customer issues via one-call resolution guidelines and/or escalated process, ensuring prompt and effective solutions
- Meet or exceed company and client performance metrics, striving for excellence in customer service
- Maintain a balance between company policy and client benefit in decision-making, exercising sound judgment
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact our client and its customers
- Responsible for call disposition or compiling and documenting customer information as required, ensuring accurate records
- Ability to accept and embrace changes within the current business environment, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, ensuring a secure and trustworthy work environment
- Dedicated area to work from in your home, providing a professional and distraction-free space
- Internet speed requirement of 20 Mb/s for download speeds and 10 Mb/s for upload speeds (wired Ethernet connection required)
- Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers, especially senior citizens
- Strong decision-making and analytical abilities, enabling effective problem-solving and customer support
- Ability to identify customer needs and clearly articulate products and services, providing personalized support
- Schedule flexibility to include weekends, evenings, possible holidays, and occasional overtime, demonstrating adaptability and commitment
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction, ensuring a customer-centric approach
- Meet all attendance and dependability requirements, demonstrating a strong work ethic and reliability
- Be a team player, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or related field
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technical systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and colleagues
