You will be the first point of contact for many of our clients, and your professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving skills will make all the difference. **Key Responsibilities** * Welcome clients in a respectful, professional, and courteous manner * Monitor the ticket counter area to ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures * Assist clients with self-service kiosks and booth equipment (e.g., printing tickets and receipts) * Maintain and update booth equipment (e.g., load paper, clean surfaces) * Troubleshoot booth technology issues to identify causes and resolve problems * Collaborate with IT to resolve technical issues requiring additional support * Verify clients' carry-on baggage complies with FAA/American Airlines policies (e.g., size, quantity) * Check and clear travel documents (e.g., passports, visas) for clients traveling internationally (e.g., using the Timatic database available in the booth) * Assist clients with checked baggage handling (e.g., processing credit card payments, self-labeling, verifying weight) * Manage lines in ticket counter areas based on departure times or type of assistance required (e.g., special assistance, reducing volume of lines or wait time) * Accept and initiate clients' self-labeled baggage at the check-in station * Physically move baggage throughout the ticket counter area (e.g., move checked items to the belt, move oversized bags to designated oversized baggage area) * Assist clients with checking their assistive devices, sporting equipment, and other oversized items (e.g., check adherence to proper procedures) * Refer clients to customer support specialists when necessary * Perform clearance and verification of documents at booths * Assist with the physical movement of non-ambulatory clients as they board, deplane, or move throughout the airport and terminal area * Assist unaccompanied minors with boarding, deplaning, or other transportation * Provide clients with door information and directions * Perform paging exercises (e.g., to announce forgotten items, request clients to return to locked bags) (at select airports) * Perform additional related duties as deemed functionally significant by management in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement **What You'll Need for Success** * High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in English language; bilingual language skills may be required in certain locations * Valid driver's license as required by local authorities * Completion of pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting to meet organization and security requirements * Must meet FAA criminal history verifications to qualify for unescorted access badges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable * Must be able to obtain proper airport power or US Customs security badges, if necessary * Must be eligible to work in the U.S. **Preferred Qualifications** * Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Systems * Previous face-to-face customer service experience * Experience working in a high-volume environment **What You'll Get** * Competitive hourly rate of $18 * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage * 401(k) program with company match * Additional benefits, including employee assistance program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, travel, and more * Opportunities for career growth and advancement * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * A dynamic and supportive work environment **About arenaflex** arenaflex is a leading airline with a rich history of innovation and customer satisfaction.
