**Job Summary**
As a Data Entry Associate, you will be responsible for processing incoming healthcare claim forms sent by our clients, digitalizing them in a format provided by arenaflex, and ensuring high accuracy while meeting established keystrokes per hour (kph) or words per minute (wpm) standards. You will work closely with our team to capture and validate complex data, image classify and index documents, and verify data from automated data extraction tools.
**Responsibilities**
* Captures and validates more complex data
* Image classification and indexing
* Pre-adjudicates documents and corrects data as required
* Verifies data from automated data extraction tools
* Utilize various systems to work on assigned tasks
* Completes assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or use additional information to do the work
* Work within established procedures and practices
* Work under close supervision
**Requirements**
* Must be able to type at least 45+ WPM with high accuracy
* 10-key by touch proficiency
* Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet research
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while performing functions with high accuracy rate
* Maintain or exceed 4,000 kph for numeric and 2,500 kph alpha/numeric with less than 1% error rate
* Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing preferred
* Experience working through VPN connection
* Must be at least 18 years of age or older
* Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Must be eligible to work in the United States
* Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in data entry or a related field
* Familiarity with medical claims form processing
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
