Your key responsibilities will include: * **Data Management**: Accurately enter alphabetic and numeric data into databases or software programs using a keyboard or optical scanner. This may include uploading data from external sources, transcribing audio or video content, and more. * **Document Handling**: Review and interpret source documents, such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and input the necessary information into designated data fields using keyboards or scanners. * **Data Verification**: Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of demographic, financial, and/or customer data before entry. Identify discrepancies and correct data entry errors by cross-referencing source documents. * **Error Reporting**: Detect and report any data discrepancies to supervisors and suggest corrective measures as needed. * **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate operational records, logs of activities, and completed work. * **Confidentiality**: Uphold data integrity and confidentiality by adhering to organizational procedures and standards. * **Prioritization**: Establish data entry priorities by following organizational guidelines or collaborating with team leadership. * **Data Validation**: Verify and update customer and account information by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
