**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Technology group, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data assets. You'll work closely with our cybersecurity team to design, implement, and maintain data protection and privacy solutions that meet the highest standards of security and compliance.
**Responsibilities**
As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Analyzing and evaluating data protection and privacy risks and threats to our organization
* Developing and implementing data protection and privacy policies and procedures
* Collaborating with our cybersecurity team to design and implement data protection and privacy solutions
* Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
* Providing training and awareness programs to employees on data protection and privacy best practices
* Staying up-to-date with the latest data protection and privacy regulations and standards
* Collaborating with our compliance team to ensure that our data protection and privacy practices meet regulatory requirements
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
* Strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines, with the potential to handle multiple projects concurrently
* Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
* Reliable, punctual attendance is a critical aspect of this role
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
* CISA certification
* Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
* Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
* Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
* Ability to interpret noncompliance to determine its impact on risk and/or average effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity program
* Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities
