Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for driving our AI initiatives and contributing to the development of next-generation developer tools. Your key responsibilities will include:
- AI Strategy Execution: Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms that enhance our developer experience platform, ensuring alignment with arenaflex's overall technology strategy.
- Model Development: Build, train, and fine-tune machine learning models, including foundation models and large language models, to address various business problems and improve developer productivity.
- Data Pipeline Management: Ensure data quality through rigorous analysis, handling missing values, identifying outliers, evaluating model performance, validating results, and interpreting outcomes to provide actionable recommendations.
- Algorithm Selection: Choose appropriate machine learning algorithms, train models, and calibrate hyperparameters to achieve optimal predictive performance and model accuracy.
- Transformer Architecture: Apply deep expertise in transformer architecture, vector embeddings, and advanced ML techniques to develop solutions that solve complex business challenges.
- Experimental Framework: Lead model deployment for experimentation, implementing A/B testing, monitoring model performance, and iterating on solutions based on empirical results.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AI engineers, software developers, product managers, and other data scientists to deliver end-to-end AI-enabled solutions.
- Technical Communication: Present experimental results in a clear and compelling manner, translating complex AI model capabilities into digestible information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Foundation Model Utilization: Experience with training models or utilizing foundation models and fine-tuning them to meet custom business requirements.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is strongly preferred and will be given special consideration.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in the software industry with a focused specialization in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Programming Proficiency: Highly skilled in quantitative programming languages including Python, R, and SQL, with practical experience working with distributed storage systems such as S3, Flash, and Vector Databases.
- ML Expertise: Strong understanding and extensive experience with cutting-edge machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, statistical modeling, and large language models.

Compensation and Benefits
