About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a remote work arrangement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments. Your primary focus will be on processing exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, identifying and addressing discrepancies between arenaflex and our fund business or transfer partners. This role also involves handling Corporate Activity Events, settling and reconciling transfer activity, and processing and reconciling returns activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Process exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles
- Identify and address discrepancies between arenaflex and our fund business or transfer partners
- Handle Corporate Activity Events
- Settle and reconcile transfer activity
- Process and reconcile returns activity
- Perform research on complex or escalated issues
- Test and validate new technology improvements and vendor changes
- Complete projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor account
Deliverables
- Customer review of membership deals or transactions requests
- Client/Advisor level exceptions
- Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Settlement of Business, Dividend, and Transfer Breaks
- Reconciliation between BOS and Fund Companies
- Evaluation and analysis of applicable tax code and corrections of tax coding
Trouble Resolving
- Internal/External body enhancements or concerns
- Origin of breaks between arenaflex, the Fund, etc.
- Delivering method or technology solution choices to Control
- Remediating transmission problems with the Fund or Contra Agency
- Customer or Organization Companion Service
- Answering service companion inquiries relating to Fund specific requirements/eligibility
- Providing action on Choice Investment moves to expedite the customer request or remediate not in good order concerns
- Timely and accurate completion of client investing and returns requests
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial industry or a related field
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
- Experience with data reconciliation and analysis
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and systems
