**About arenaflex's Global Vendor and Organization Services**
arenaflex's Global Vendor and Organization Services (GM&NS) Estimating team is responsible for driving the company's largest source of revenue: Trader Markdown Income. Our team works closely with colleagues across the organization to determine the optimal pricing strategy that enables vendor acceptance of arenaflex while improving inclusion and trader satisfaction. By leveraging client-driven estimating standards, more adaptable pricing engineering, and creative pricing solutions, we drive GMS income and profit growth.
**The Financial Analyst of Planning and Research – Canada**
We're seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in Canada, responsible for determining and reporting dealer markdown income. This is a unique opportunity to impact multiple organizations and divisions by aligning the association's objective for profitable charge volume and vendor development, critical to the strength of our business.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Create a Canada figure for shipper rebate income track month-to-month execution against forecast and recognize drivers of change
* Develop vendor rebate income scorecards for the Canada district
* Drive normalization and process improvement among the different local pricing groups for all reporting and determining related activities
* Support external reviews including investigating issues found, reaching the provincial pricing groups that handle the trader relationship to discuss issues, and managing goals
* Perform ad-hoc data analysis to assess rebate rate trends and uncover insights
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 2+ years' experience in financial services or payments industry, and/or other finance-related roles
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in finance/Accounting/Business preferred
* High proficiency with Excel is required
* Strong attention to detail and organization
* Strong analytical skills; demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models and draw value-added insights from large financial datasets
* Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SAS/SQL) is required

* Strong communication skills – both written and oral
* A strong relationship with management and collaboration skills with the ability to influence others in situations where there may be multiple objectives
