arenaflex's Information Science and Designing (DSE) team is dedicated to harnessing the power of data, analytics, and science to drive business growth. We're seeking a skilled Data Specialist to join our Games DSE team, supporting critical pipelines that inform both individual game and overall game portfolio performance. This role will collaborate closely with our Game studio partners to identify the types of data that need to be collected, and work directly with our Game Development teams to gather telemetry from specific games.
As a member of this team, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of arenaflex's gaming division.
**In this role, you will:**
* Engineer efficient, scalable, and adaptable data pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data
* Develop a deep understanding of the emerging games space at arenaflex
* Collaborate with our game studio partners to develop high-level metrics for games (e.g., maintenance, etc.)
* Partner with arenaflex's internal game studios (Night School, Next Games, Manager Battle, and Agile Fox) to ingest relevant metrics and game data into the arenaflex ecosystem
* Collaborate with the arenaflex SDK team and external game partners (e.g., Gameloft) to collect data through the arenaflex Games SDK
* Join a dynamic team of data engineers with diverse skill sets, working closely with data analysis, design, and science partners
**About you:**
* You're passionate about building robust data products
* You have in-depth skills in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala, with at least 2 years of programming/data engineering experience
* You're comfortable with advanced SQL
* You have experience designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flume, Flink) on medium to large-scale data sets
* You're familiar with AWS cloud resources (S3, EC2, RDS, etc.)
* You excel at taking requirements and delivering adaptable data models and pipelines
* You're eager to showcase your skills, learn new technologies, and grow your career
