**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced full stack pharmacy technician to join our team at arenaflex. As a pharmacy technician, you'll work closely with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and experiences. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient consultations, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. You'll also be responsible for data entry, inventory management, and other administrative tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Assist pharmacists with patient consultations, prescription processing, and other pharmacy-related tasks
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information
* Process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets
* Verify medication accuracy and check for potential interactions
* Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of prescription medications
* Perform data entry tasks, including registering prescriptions, tracking inventory, and maintaining accurate records
* Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting patients, answering questions, and resolving issues
* Develop strong relationships with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
* Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and patient care
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* Current certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT) or willingness to obtain certification through our training program
* 6 months of experience in a retail or healthcare setting; experience in a pharmacy setting preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
* Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications
* Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and pharmacy management systems
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience working with arenaflex or in a similar retail or healthcare setting
* Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including inventory management and data entry
* Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and software
* Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT) or willingness to obtain certification through our training program
* Experience with patient education and counseling
