About the Role
As a Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative at blithequark, you will be the advocate for healthcare providers, supporting them with their queries and concerns. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, responding to questions and resolving issues related to benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits, and behavioral health. Your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to provide top-notch service to our providers, ensuring their needs are met and their issues are resolved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, demonstrating accountability and ownership to resolve issues
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and concurrent chat, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Quickly and accurately triage contacts from healthcare professionals, identifying their needs and providing solutions
- Research and resolve complex prior authorization and claim issues, taking steps to prevent repeat calls and escalations
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure issues are resolved and communicated to providers in a timely manner
- Multitask effectively, navigating multiple systems to extract necessary information and resolve issues efficiently
- Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, assisting with navigation questions and promoting the benefits of these tools
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1 year of customer service experience with analyzing and solving customer concerns
- Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Ability to type at a speed of 35-40 WPM with an accuracy of 90%
- Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week), including occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology
- Experience in a related environment (i.e., office, call center, customer service)
