We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Health Assistant/ Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. **A Day in the Life...**
As a Health Assistant/ Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our members. Your day will be filled with:
* Delivering interventions to support members in navigating the complex healthcare system via phone and digital messaging
* Influencing members' decisions and behavior by making them smarter consumers of healthcare, translating their benefit packages and care plans, and helping them find the right doctors and resources
* Uncovering barriers that prevent members from getting the care they need and identifying opportunities to connect them with the right clinical resources
* Leveraging technology and internal resources to help understand members' paths, actions needed, and next steps
* Driving better client outcomes by assisting with improved financial outcomes, helping members avoid inappropriate healthcare usage and process errors, and optimizing their benefit packages and third-party vendors
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide exceptional service to members, responding to their healthcare needs and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner
* Navigate the complex healthcare system to find solutions for members, including connecting them with the right clinical resources and providers
* Analyze members' benefit packages and care plans to identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations for optimization
* Develop and maintain relationships with members, understanding their unique needs and preferences
* Collaborate with internal teams, including clinicians and health plan representatives, to ensure seamless care coordination and support
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to provide informed guidance to members
**Qualifications:**
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a service-based environment, with a Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant experience
* Relevant background experience can include, but is not limited to:
