About Our Client and the Role

Our client provides payroll services for individuals participating in self-directed Medicaid programs, enabling patients to hire their preferred caregivers and receive the care they need in the comfort of their own homes. As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in supporting these patients and caregivers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any issues they may encounter.

Flexible Scheduling and Hours of Operation

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling, allowing you to choose your hours within our client's operating hours. These hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET. Please note that you'll need to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with some hours on Mondays and Fridays, as these are particularly busy days.

Compensation and Benefits

This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $13 per hour. As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy significant savings on expenses related to transportation, clothing, childcare or eldercare, and food. You may also be eligible for home office tax deductions; however, we recommend consulting with an accountant to determine your eligibility.

In addition to the hourly rate, you'll receive:

Certification and Training

Prior to supporting our client, you'll need to complete a certification class, which will take place from December 30th through January 8th, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. While you won't be able to invoice for the $13 per hour during certification, you'll receive a $250 payment upon successful completion and commencement of servicing.
