About the Role: IT Recruiter - New Business
We're seeking an experienced IT Recruiter to drive growth in the Professional Services market by developing and nurturing relationships with new and established clients across various industries. In this role, you'll work closely with our technical teams to deliver innovative solutions, contributing to the success of our key technology services - a critical driver of global growth, particularly in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving Sales: Win professional services contracts ranging from £1M to £10M and consistently meet or exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth and business expansion.
- Leadership: Motivate and manage large, complex teams under high-pressure environments, ensuring successful project outcomes and adapting to stakeholder needs.
- Client Engagement: Understand client needs, adapt quickly, and create innovative, win-win solutions that build trust and confidence with senior management and stakeholders.
- Managing Opportunities: Take full responsibility for sales and opportunity pursuits from initiation to close, negotiating and delivering results that meet business goals.
- Presentations and Negotiations: Lead impactful presentations to senior-level stakeholders and negotiate contracts that meet business objectives, showcasing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Sales Focus: Proven success in winning professional services opportunities (up to £10M contract value) and delivering on sales targets, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue growth objectives.
- Leadership: Experience in managing large and complex teams, motivating them to achieve successful outcomes, and adapting to stakeholder needs, with a strong leadership presence.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to manage multiple aspects of opportunities simultaneously, adapting to client changes while identifying new business prospects, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Commercial Awareness: Experience working in a multinational environment, focusing on delivering positive business outcomes that meet client requirements, with a deep understanding of both the NHS and broader sectors (e.g., manufacturing, FSNI).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English, able to communicate at all levels and lead presentations to senior management, with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Accountability: Proven track record in managing full sales cycles and closing new business deals under pressure, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Desirable criteria include a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience), although this is not essential.
