Key Responsibilities
- Assist students in analyzing assignments and assigned readings, and interpreting and understanding mathematical concepts.
- Help students develop critical thinking and mathematical communication skills, as well as effective study habits and skills.
- Support students working in an online format, ensuring they receive the guidance they need to succeed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to student success.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Reference from an instructor or professor if you are a current Olympic College student.
- High School Graduate, Equivalent, or Current Running Start Student.
- Completion of MATH 141 (or equivalent course) with a decimal grade of 3.5 or higher.
- Basic computer competency.
Desired Qualifications
- College teaching or previous tutoring experience preferred.
- Completion of Math 141, Math 142, Math 151, Math 152, and Math 163 or equivalent courses with grades of 3.5 or higher.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
This is an hourly position scheduled to work up to 18 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $18.20 - $24.23 DOE. While not initially eligible for benefits upon hire, you may qualify for the following:
