**Responsibilities**
As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional phone support: Handle calls from hospitals regarding billing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that patients receive accurate and timely information.
* Assisting patients effectively: Clarify patient questions, address concerns, and provide clear guidance on billing and insurance matters.
* Problem-solving champion: Identify the root cause of issues, research solutions, implement the best option, and escalate unresolved matters when necessary, ensuring that patients receive the support they need.
* Data entry specialist: Maintain accurate patient records by inputting information into our computer system, ensuring that data is up-to-date and secure.
* Connects callers seamlessly: Route incoming calls to the most suitable person within the company, ensuring that patients receive the support they need in a timely manner.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Epic Software experience highly preferred
* Bi-lingual a plus
* Must have worked in a call center and experience in Medical Claims and/or Insurance
* Ability to undergo a criminal background check, provide proof of a High School Diploma, GED, or transcripts, and complete a drug screen testing (testing for THC)
* Have High Speed Internet with a minimal of 50 Mbps Download/20 Mbps Upload Speed - Must be able to hard wire via Ethernet cable
* Ability to work from home in a quiet setting with no others within earshot, due to HIPAA compliance, including a workspace to accommodate two monitors and a computer
