As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you can expect: * Competitive starting pay: $15.50/hr-$18.00/hr * Cash bonuses (based on facility performance) up to $750.00 per quarter * Comprehensive health insurance benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account, Short and Long Term Disability * Paid vacation days and paid sick leave * 6 paid holidays plus two personal holidays * Extra perks and discounts, including discounts for shopping and entertainment, tuition reimbursement, adoption reimbursement, and Employee Assistance Program * Promotional opportunities for career growth and advancement * A supportive and employee-friendly environment focused on patient satisfaction **Essential Duties** As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Handling inbound and outbound calls from patients and our client facilities by listening, empathizing, and solving issues; or escalating to the next level using sound judgment * Using a computer to navigate screens to notate and effectuate a positive patient experience * Performing administrative duties, including managing email, completing assignments, and other duties * Actively participating in regular departmental meetings, facility town halls, and individual meetings to provide feedback on customer service operations and process improvement strategies **Job Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * To be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED * Demonstrated ability to navigate a computer * Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, analytical, and a creative problem solver * A proven track record of being positive, solution-oriented, and having a great sense of humor * Ability to type at least 30 words per minute * Reliable, consistent transportation * Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen **Wow Factors** While not required, previous medical office experience, including working knowledge of revenue cycle, medical terminology, and insurance claim filing experience, is a definite plus. Additionally, billing or other revenue cycle certifications can be beneficial in this role. **Training and Onboarding** As a remote Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll undergo a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role.
