Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately running automated CNC metal machining machines per specifications, utilizing a variety of measuring instruments, setting tools, making tool page offsets, investigating and troubleshooting issues, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and documenting as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately run automated CNC metal machining machines per specifications
- Utilize a variety of measuring instruments, including gauging and other precision tools
- Set tools and make tool page offsets as required
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues with machines and processes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Document production, maintenance, and other activities as needed
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of machinist experience setting up and operating milling machines
- Strong ability to understand blueprints, GD&T, and G&M codes
- Ability to follow safety requirements and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Ability to utilize gauging and a variety of measuring instruments with precision
- Solid work history and reliability
- US citizen or green card holder
- Residence within 45 minutes of the Big Bend, WI area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC machining software and programming
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
