As a part-time data entry specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Global Merchant and Network Services (GM&NS) Estimating team. This team is responsible for driving the single largest source of arenaflex's revenue: Trader Markdown Income. By working closely with colleagues across the organization, you'll help determine the optimal pricing strategy to enhance vendor acceptance of arenaflex while improving inclusion and trader satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a data entry specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Creating a Canada figure for shipper rebate income track month-to-month execution against forecast and identifying drivers of change
* Developing vendor rebate income scorecards for the Canada district
* Driving normalization and interaction improvement among the different local pricing groups for all reporting and determining related activities
* Supporting external reviews, including investigating issues found, reaching out to the provincial pricing groups that handle the trader relationship to discuss issues, and managing goals
* Performing ad-hoc data analysis to assess rebate rate trends and uncover insights
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments industry, and/or other finance-related roles
* A four-year college education, preferably in finance, accounting, or business
* High proficiency in Excel is required
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Solid analytical skills, with the ability to develop complex financial models and draw valuable insights from large datasets
* Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SAS/SQL) is required
* Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
* A strong relationship with management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others in situations where there may be multiple objectives
* A strong work ethic with an extreme will-to-win, ability to succeed in a high-speed, dynamic team environment, which places a premium on driving results
* An innovative thinker who will challenge conventional approaches and develop new ways to tackle old challenges
* Strong project management skills, with full ownership from analysis through to execution
* An enthusiastic focus on the customer, with a demonstrated willingness to understand and address customer needs and pain points
* Proven ability to manage multiple requests and priorities as needed
**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
