**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Customer Experience:**
+ Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
+ Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
+ Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
* **Operations:**
+ Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
+ Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.
+ Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.
+ Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
+ Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
+ Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader.
* **Pharmacy Operations:**
+ Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
+ Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions.
+ Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures.
+ Review and comply with the arenaflex Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
* **Administrative Tasks:**
+ Process manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner.
+ Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
* **Inventory Management:**
+ Assist with inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
+ Maintain knowledge of company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.
* **Store Maintenance:**
+ Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
+ Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
+ Complete resets and revisions as directed.
+ Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
* **Additional Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.
+ Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers.
+ Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
* 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other team members.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* PTCB certification or state required certification/registration.
* Experience with pharmacy systems and equipment.
* Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
