Job Overview
In this role, you will own product development and roadmaps for two modules of supplier self-service experience: Homepage and Report Center. Your primary responsibility will be to create an easy-to-use, relevant, and insightful experience in these modules, enabling suppliers to fully self-serve and take actions to grow their businesses. This, in turn, will enhance the customer's experience with Wayfair through a vast selection of products and prices.
As a Product Manager, you will develop a deep understanding of the metrics that enable suppliers to succeed on the Wayfair platform. You will partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and co-develop impactful solutions that drive key business value. Using Agile processes, you will collaborate with partnering teams (engineers, experience designers, analytics) to execute the roadmap and communicate and sell the product vision and development throughout Wayfair, including senior partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of supplier needs and pain points to inform product development and roadmap decisions.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their goals and objectives and co-develop solutions that drive key business value.
- Use Agile processes to collaborate with partnering teams (engineers, experience designers, analytics) to execute the roadmap and deliver high-quality products.
- Communicate and sell the product vision and development throughout Wayfair, including senior partners, to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Develop and monitor OKRs for key product projects and ensure alignment with stakeholder objectives.
- Work with management to improve product craft and processes throughout your workgroup.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 4+ years of experience building products or infrastructure at scale from concept to launch and beyond.
- A focus on customer problems and solutions, with a proven track record of developing products that drive business impact.
- Sufficient business literacy to participate in making key decisions and effectively communicate with technical partners, including engineering.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the senior partner level, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence others.
- A positive, human-oriented, and collaborative attitude, with a mentality that pushes through problems with creative solutions and tenacity, while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working with cross-functional teams.
