Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the regional team and other units/departments to implement the Regional Plan, ensuring consistency with regional priorities and creative responses to emerging challenges and opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders, including government institutions, bi-lateral and multi-lateral donors, private sector entities, and civil society organizations, to achieve program outcomes and support resource mobilization.
- Develop and implement regional partnerships and resource mobilization strategies, determining programmatic areas of cooperation based on IYF's strategic goals, regional needs, and donors' priorities.
- Provide strategic oversight of planning, budgeting, implementing, and monitoring of regional programs, ensuring effective management and supervision of program teams and tracking the use of financial resources in accordance with IYF rules and regulations.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience and results in youth empowerment, management, coordination, development, communications, international relations, youth studies, sport, women empowerment, or other relevant fields, preferably at the national or international level.
- Strong understanding of the youth empowerment sector, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships, mobilize resources, and develop advocacy networks at the national and international levels.
