Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation and updating patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient's record.
- Prepare and send all documentation to physicians for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures.
- Monitor the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with healthcare providers.
- Comply with hospital and medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission, to maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
- Perform other clerical duties and tasks as assigned to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow, including data entry, scheduling, and customer service.

- Laptop/Desktop with at least i5 processor and 8gb of ram.
- Internet Speed of 35mbps and above.
- Noise Cancelling Headset/Webcam.
- Dedicated place at home for work, free from distractions and interruptions.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications and skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, virtual assistance, or a related field, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and electronic health records (EHRs).
