**Job Responsibilities:**
As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
* Lead the Adversarial Abuse group in identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, commitment misuse, and other forms of abuse.
* Oversee the Business Investigation group, responsible for producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide.
* Collaborate with the Strategy Development team to create approaches using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior.
* Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and mitigate adversarial abuse, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Design, to develop and implement tools and solutions to prevent and mitigate adversarial abuse.
* Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including setting goals, objectives, and performance expectations.
* Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration within the team, and encourage experimentation and learning.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and engineers, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats, and develop strategies to address these threats.
**Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
* At least 4 years of experience in a related field, including risk management, data analysis, and leadership.
* 2 years of experience working with designing teams that form data infrastructure and ML models.
* 2 years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks of work as accelerations require.
* Strong background in data analysis, including experience with SQL, R, and Matlab.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams.
* Strong business judgment, including the ability to use data to drive strategy and business decisions.
* Experience with machine learning and natural language processing is a plus.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Postgraduate education in a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
* 2 years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection.
* Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities.
* Strong understanding of SQL, R, and Matlab, including experience with data visualization and machine learning.
* Excellent impacting and leader relational skills, including the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams.
* Strong business judgment, including the ability to use data to drive strategy and business decisions.
