**Job Summary:**
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Transplant, you will be responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. You will work in a high-production environment where you will need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service. **Responsibilities:**
* Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
* Make outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
* Work in a high-production environment where you will need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and other stakeholders
* Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely processing of prescriptions
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and prescription data
* Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with changing regulations and best practices
* Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
**Requirements:**
* 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
* Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong computer skills and proficiency in data entry software
* Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Specialty pharmacy experience
* Call center experience
* Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
* Experience working in a high-production environment

**Compensation:**
The typical pay range for this role is:
* Minimum: $17.00
* Maximum: $27.90
