Job Overview
As a Stretching Specialist with Stretchplex, you'll play a critical role in delivering our signature assisted stretching services to clients who are seeking to improve their flexibility, mobility, and overall well-being. You'll work closely with our team to create a welcoming and supportive environment that fosters growth, connection, and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, one-on-one assisted stretch sessions that meet the unique needs of each client
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout their stretch sessions to help them achieve their goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive membership sales and retention
- Manage client care by booking recurring appointments, updating client notes, and maximizing session utilization
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment by enforcing Stretchplex policies and safety rules
- Participate in staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices
- Assist sales associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed
- Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention
- Keep equipment clean and well-maintained to ensure it's available for client use at all times
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed as a Stretching Specialist with Stretchplex, you'll need to possess a unique combination of skills, experience, and passion for delivering exceptional wellness services. Here are the essential qualifications and requirements:
Essential Qualifications
- A background in personal training, athletic training, physical therapy assistance, massage therapy, or Pilates/yoga instruction
- A fitness certification or a 4-year degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology
- Experience working in a fitness or health environment where you've provided hands-on training to clients
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a positive, welcoming environment
- A passion for helping clients achieve their goals and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies
