**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Veterinary Customer Services Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Small Animal Reception team, you'll provide exceptional front-line client services, supporting clients, customers, clinicians, and care-giving colleagues. This is a full-time position (32 hours/week) with varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.00-$21.69.
**Responsibilities**
As a Veterinary Customer Services Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Responding to routine, complex, and medical emergency situations in a professional manner
* Answering and directing internal and external calls appropriately
* Creating accurate day-to-day admitting information through our hospital computer system
* Resolving routine problems and complex situations using medical terminology, office practices, and established customer service principles
* Maintaining safe and accurate money handling practices and adhering to university privacy standards
**Key Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 2 years of experience in a customer service, healthcare, or veterinary care environment
* Background in customer services, insurance verification, and/or veterinary practice customer services
* Ability to work independently while interacting with customers, visitors, clinicians, technicians, and medical center faculty and staff
* Experience analyzing and interpreting information, with proficiency in electronic medical records systems and computer operations
