Job description

Job Type: Full-time | Location: Childress, Texas | Department: Construction | Reporting to: Senior Construction Manager | Work Location: #remote

IREN is a leading AI Cloud Service Provider, delivering large-scale GPU clusters for AI training and inference.  IREN’s vertically integrated platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and data centers in renewable-rich regions across the U.S. and Canada.

The Fabrication and Vendor Coordination Specialist plays a critical role in delivering next-generation, mission-critical data center infrastructure by serving as the driving force behind off-site fabrication performance. This fast-paced, field-focused position puts you at the center of daily operations across 5–6 fabrication yards, where you will proactively solve problems, accelerate production, ensure quality excellence, and keep critical components on schedule. You will be the trusted bridge between vendors and construction leadership, directly influencing project success through real-time decision-making, hands-on coordination, and disciplined reporting. If you thrive in high-performance environments, enjoy being in the field, and want to make a measurable impact on large-scale data center projects, this role offers the opportunity to lead from the front and help build the infrastructure powering the future.

With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.
