As a Data Entry Specialist at FedEx, you will play a vital role in managing and updating our database with accuracy and efficiency. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle large volumes of data and ensure its integrity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position
- Excellent typing skills and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office and data entry software
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Responsibilities
- Enter customer and account data from source documents within time limits
- Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Apply data program techniques and procedures
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
- Scan documents and print files, when needed
Educational Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional computer training or certification will be an asset
