About the Worldwide Depository Controllership (GTC) Group
The GTC Group serves as the backbone of arenaflex's financial infrastructure. Our team is responsible for maintaining rigorous financial control and reporting standards across all treasury-related activities. We work diligently to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support strategic decision-making, and drive operational excellence throughout the organization.
As a Financial Analyst within this group, you will contribute to SEC and regulatory reporting initiatives while ensuring consistent and accurate reporting across arenaflex's entire depositary portfolio. This position offers exposure to complex financial instruments, high-profile projects, and opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the organization's financial health.
Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of the arenaflex GTC team, you will:
- Lead Continuous Reporting Initiatives: Support ongoing reporting drives that impact the GTC group, including debt, investment, subsidiary and hedging transactions, and Accumulated Other Comprehensive Income (AOCI) reporting.
- Conduct Detailed Portfolio Analysis: Prepare comprehensive and detailed analysis of depositary portfolios and present findings to senior leadership, worldwide depositary teams, and external auditors.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Support evolving external reporting requirements and ensure all regulatory obligations are met with precision and timeliness.
- Drive Project Success: Contribute to ongoing project plans for the GTC Group, managing multiple priorities and meeting critical deadlines.
- Champion Automation & Process Improvement: Participate in projects that drive automation and workflow enhancements, bringing innovative solutions to complex financial processes.
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain productive partnerships with colleagues across departments, including Depositary, External Reporting, Exposure Management, Worldwide Accounting Policy Group, Legal, and Tax teams.
- Document Methodologies & Maintain Controls: Document reporting methodologies and ensure compliance with robust reporting controls and internal policies.
- Support Audit Activities: Assist with both internal and external audit initiatives, providing necessary documentation and explanations to ensure successful audit outcomes.
Essential Qualifications
To thrive in this role at arenaflex, you should bring:
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience in audit, accounting, or finance. Big 4 public accounting experience is highly preferred. CPA certification is a plus.
- Project Management Skills: 1+ years of project management experience with demonstrated ability to lead initiatives from concept to completion.
- Technical Accounting Expertise: Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting standards is required.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, present complex information clearly, and demonstrate strong organizational capabilities.
- Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Ability to challenge the status quo and apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Technology Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
