Summary:
The Financial Operations Specialist serves as a key professional within the Finance
Department, providing coordination and oversight across multiple financial domains. This
position requires independent judgment, a high level of accuracy, and discretion in handling
financial data, compliance matters, and operational processes. The specialist ensures
alignment with state and federal reporting standards and supports strategic initiatives
critical to the organization’s financial compliance and integrity.

Qualifications
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal communications and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or requests for assistance from district-wide staff members. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and coworkers, both verbally and in writing.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math and accounting skills required
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have computer pro?ciency in Microsoft O?ce, Google Suite, and QuickBooks environments with the ability to manage multiple computer screens. Must have a high aptitude to learn new software as necessary for the business operations of the school.
