About the position
LST Group is seeking multiple Flatbed Logistics Coordinators and Carrier Salespeople. This role requires strong organizational skills, time management, and prioritization. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of logistics experience and can effectively manage flatbed loads. Responsibilities include spot quoting flatbed shipments, leveraging carrier relationships for same-day truck availability, providing rates to customers, responding to customer inquiries regarding pricing, scheduling, and ETAs, and bidding on shipper load/bid boards.
Responsibilities
• Spot quote Flatbed shipments
• Provide trucks in hand for same day loads
• Provide rates to customers
• Answer customer emails regarding pricing, scheduling, ETAs, etc.
• Bid on Flatbed shipper load / bid boards
• Manage freight
• Use own judgment for pricing and managing freight
Requirements
• Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or carrier sales, or in a related role
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of supply chain management and transportation procedures
• Ability to work well & multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Can smell a double broker/shady carrier from a mile away
• 5+ years of logistics experience
Nice-to-haves
• Can spot quote Flatbed shipments and have carrier relationships to provide trucks in hand for same day loads
• Confident in your capabilities and want to work for company that rewards grind and accomplishment financially and with advancement / management opportunities
• Comfortable providing rates to customers and answering customer emails regarding pricing, scheduling, ETAs, etc.
• Experience bidding on Flatbed shipper load / bid boards
