Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) specializing in Capital Raising and Financial Modeling to join our dynamic team. Duties
• Lead capital raising efforts by preparing compelling financial presentations, engaging with investors, and managing fundraising campaigns aligned with strategic growth objectives.
• Develop sophisticated financial projection models to forecast revenue streams, expenses, and profitability under various scenarios.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
• Conduct comprehensive risk analysis related to mergers & acquisitions, market fluctuations, and regulatory compliance to inform strategic decision-making.
• Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships to support operational needs.
• Interpret complex financial statements for senior leadership, providing actionable insights on profit & loss, expense management, and cost control initiatives.
• Supervise finance teams in budgeting processes, financial report writing, and ensuring compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) standards for internal controls.
• Collaborate with management on strategic planning efforts to align financial goals with organizational objectives while supporting business development activities such as fundraising for expansion projects.
Requirements
• Proven experience in finance directorship roles with a strong background in accounting systems, financial analysis, and corporate finance.
• Extensive knowledge of industry-specific regulations including GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), COSO (Internal Control Framework), and relevant governmental accounting standards.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising for business development initiatives and managing investor relations.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting analysis, risk management strategies, and strategic planning processes.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams and collaborating across departments on fiscal management projects.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and experience conducting regulatory reporting audits.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into clear reports for executive decision-making.
• Technical proficiency in financial software platforms and accounting systems used for cost control, expense management, payroll management, and supply chain analysis.
