This is a 100% remote role and the candidate can be located anywhere in the US, but a high preference for NY.
Role Overview: We are seeking a Fractional CMO to take ownership of the marketing engine within our upstart EdTech platform within the medical education space. You will transform raw team and founder-led content into a multi-channel growth machine, optimizing our B2C tutoring/advising funnel while building the collateral needed for B2B institutional expansion.
This candidate will work directly with the co-founders in a high-touch role with possible future equity earn out pending performance and fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with our goal of reaching $1mm+ in revenue while striving to maintain our current
• Multi-Channel Content Strategy: Oversee the "atomization" of raw video content into high-performing Reels, TikToks, and newsletters that resonate with medical students.
• Funnel Optimization: Manage and refine the sales funnel for both our high-ticket 1:1 advising/tutoring ($1,500+) and our asynchronous Bootcamp courses ($97 tripwire).
• Brand Management: Ensure consistent, professional messaging across all touchpoints, positioning us as the premier med school/residency advising resource/platform.
• Performance Analytics: Monitor and report on key metrics including ROAS, LTV, and conversion rates to drive data-backed reinvestment.
Ideal Candidate:
• 2+ years of senior marketing leadership, ideally in EdTech or Healthcare.
• Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, CRM automation).
• A "hands-on" strategist who can both design high-level campaigns and guide junior editors/residents in execution.
