Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Content Operations, the Front-End Developer & Designer focuses on front-end development, content design, and customer-facing content customization and support. This role is responsible for building and customizing web-based training content and phishing simulations, including branded experiences and HTML emails.
The Front-End Developer will also partner with the Content Team to create new educational materials such as HTML-based training modules, videos, and infographics, while supporting both customers and internal teams with content-related requests
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Design and develop education landing pages, micro-sites, and interactive HTML content
Build and customize HTML emails and training materials for phishing simulations and customer education
Ensure HTML emails render consistently across major email clients (e.g., Outlook, Gmail), accounting for known limitations and quirks
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver customized web pages and email content
Apply customer-specific branding to training materials and course content
Monitor and respond to customer support tickets via Zendesk and manage internal requests through JIRA
Create and maintain documentation for customizing customer deliverables
Test web content across browsers and email clients to ensure quality and consistency
Contribute to the creation of videos, infographics, and other visual content
Research and experiment with new tools (including AI tools) to improve content creation workflows
Support a fast-paced, customer-focused content delivery environment
Required Skills & Experience
Intermediate experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Solid design skills, with experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
Understanding of responsive web design principles
Experience implementing web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2, to ensure inclusive and compliant digital content
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on deadlines
Basic understanding of phishing and its impact in enterprise environments
Strong experience building and troubleshooting HTML emails, including working within the constraints and inconsistencies of email clients (especially Outlook), such as:
Table-based layouts and inline CSS
Cross-client compatibility (especially Outlook)
Responsive email techniques and testing
Preferred but Not Required
Experience working on customer-facing deliverables or in a support environment
Familiarity with UX principles (e.g., usability, accessibility, information architecture, A/B testing, analytics)
Experience with generative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Leonardo, Artlist)
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (e.g., Web Development, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or similar), or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of hands-on experience developing web content using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Proven experience building and troubleshooting HTML emails, including working with cross-client compatibility and email-specific constraints
Experience creating digital content such as landing pages, emails, infographics, or multimedia assets
