Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining budgets and forecasts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Developing and implementing program baselines, reviewing customer contracts, and creating schedule
- Determining resource needs, identifying resource trade-offs, and recommending resource solutions
- Reviewing and monitoring program risks, such as cost overruns and scheduling delays
- Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project financial status
- Developing and analyzing cost inputs, pricing proposal inputs, and creating compliant proposal submittals
- Supporting staffing planning
- Tracking, managing, and controlling program costs and labor hours
- Preparing ad hoc analyses
- Ensuring invoices are accurate and submitted on time
- Completing project setup actions in the accounting system
- Developing and updating financial forecast and estimates at completion
- Working with the contracts department for funding, billings, and other contractual items
Skills
- Entry-level: Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business-related discipline and 0-4 years of experience (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Mid-level: Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business-related discipline and 4-12 years of experience (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Senior level: Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business-related discipline and 12+ years of experience (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Experience working with DoD or related government contracts highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of customer budgetary principles and procedures
- Clearance: TS/SCI with appropriate level poly required
